@inkandashes@lgbtqia.space I just finished up Those Beyond the Wall by Micaiah Johnson. Excellent, intense SF revolving around class war. Before that was Ammonite by Nicola Griffith. It's about 35 (yow!) years old. Deeply feminist anthropological SF. When I find sapphic historical romances, I tend to move them into daytime reading, because they're less formulaic, or at least more interesting, to me.

    @DejahEntendu@dice.camp I've had a look at the summaries of both books, they look intriguing. Especially Ammonite seems interesting. I'm going to put that on my list. Have you listened to or read A Memory Called Empire by Arkady Martine? It's a scifi novel with a bit of a sapphic storyline, though it's definitely not a romance novel. It's the most recent scifi book I read (a few years ago already, but still)
