Personally, I'm a Fedora KDE convert. I've run Linux Mint (which is confusingly based on Ubuntu, which is based on Debian), Arch Linux and I mainly use Debian for servers... but my desktop and laptops have been on Fedora for a couple of years now and I've been enjoying it. Lots of updates, support from a lot of vendors (as it's compatible with RedHat Linux, which is a corporate favourite) so things tend to work quickly and work well.
