A question to those of you with a degree in computer science or any other field related to technology:
Did you take mandatory (!) courses on ethics and/or responsible technology?

@r_alb@mastodon.social I did 5 years towards a bachelor's degree in IT but never got the degree, but yes, I did have mandatory ethics courses.

@r_alb@mastodon.social I think in Canada to get your P. Eng. you need a mandatory professional ethics course. It doesn't cover moral ethics, just professional ethics.
