lucy and i encountered a little sparrow with severe heat stroke on the way back from swimming in the lake and gave it what little emergency treatment we could (cooling with a little water, transporting to a cooler location in a damp towel, offering water once it was responsive enough) but it was too late. didn’t make it. ​:sadblob:​
