No THACO, the 10..0 boxes are for Wpn vs AC.
But TSR considered it DM's Eyes Only even after Judges Guild & others had republished the tables.
Part of the reason I found AD&D so off-putting, and went back to OD&D/Basic and then Palladium & RoleMaster.

@mdhughes@appdot.net It was the first thing I tried playing. But there was a reason I quickly moved on to Palladium Fantasy and Warhammer FRP back in the 80s.
