After years of spreading fear uncertainty and doubt about Electric Vehicles the media are having to walk back those lies one by one. The latest subject is batteries: Remember how the media seeded and constantly reinforced the lie that your EV’s battery would need to be expensively replaced after 2-3 years? Now that lie is untenable the only option is to splash the new story that they’re not wearing out. But notice the framing: Their part in the belief is absent. It’s just a huge surprise.
