#TNG S01E25, "Conspiracy". Alien parasites have taken over the bodies of key admirals in Starfleet for nefarious purposes--an operation which continues more-or-less unhindered for the next five centuries.
This episode is a fucking banger. Camp scale off the charts. Almost unrecognizable as TNG.
