I got tired of debugging SIP fax lines manually and annoying Marrold with dumb questions and my own stupidity. So I made this.
It receives a fax, analyses the data and audio from it, and looks for common flamingo-ups like G711 alaw and ulaw mismatches or lossy resamplers.
It can also detect failures in T.38->G.711 fallback and report that.
Bonus: it tells you what your fax machine can do.
And then it sends you a fax back with the result. And instruments that too!
