Wow there's something very strange going on with this Edmonton Journal article:

According to this article, the Olds website was a Meta project all along and the application has now been closed.
It says the reporter confirmed it with AUC but the Olds power plant/data centre project is still listed on the AUC website: https://www2.auc.ab.ca/proceeding/30732 (may need to log in to see this?)
Anyway, people in Olds are wondering WTH is going on?

Meta has never been associated with Synapse as far as I'm aware. I'm sure the company would've liked to have Meta as a tenant but this article is written as though Meta was building it. Not true. I phoned the Journal editor-in-chief to find out where they're getting their information.
