So what's new about the Cubase binary? It's of course based on the reverse engineered equations of the original dongle. But it differs from Zippys approach: Zippy's dongle emulator was exactly that — a faithful emulator of the equations and flip-flops from the decapped real hardware dongle. One subroutine per cell, computing each flip-flop's next value from the current pin states. 1/x #atari #retrocomputing
