I mean, I *sort of* get it... I would normally target edges or faces, but there isn't access to those in OpenSCAD. The offset hack I read about only works for 2D shapes that you extrude, which doesn't work for any of the fillets or chamfers I want to make in this model. Other solutions I've found cannot be steered (they target *everything* on the top or the bottom), they are janky (they attempt to automatically target where tool shapes meet), or they cause the render to take an hour.
