We've fielded a bunch of these reports in 2026 and it leaves us going "well, sure, it could be a bot, or it could be an awkward interaction with a real person on the internet", and there just isn't a good way to act on that without sometimes banning/limiting real people. I'd say we need some kind of web-of-trust system but Fedi is insular enough as it is. :-/
