Looks like the World Cup may come down to historic rivalries. Tuesday is France vs. Spain, with centuries of geopolitical rivalry. Wednesday is more recent: we get to revisit the Falklands war, as England takes on Argentina. And if France and England both win? That's a rivalry for the millenium.

    @SteveBellovin@infosec.exchange Once trump showed that #FIFA is open to political pressure in terms of referee decisions all the wind went out of the sails of my love of the world cup. I turned it off, deleted my picks and haven't watched another game. I hate that this corrupt asshole and corrupt organization can affect me when it comes to an event that I've followed for forty years but it did. Hopefully four years from now I'll be able to enjoy it again. #NazisRaus
