@abucci Hadn't seen this yet. Thanks! $48 for the ebook... I will have to wait till it's available on Anna's Archive. The best biosemiotics-inspired book is still Terry Deacon's "Incomplete Nature." It already describes pretty well what kind of theoretical biology we currently need: one that worries about the dynamics of self-manufacturing living systems...
