@doctormo@floss.social This is the thing that gets me about complaints against universal healthcare. People think they're going to have to pay more money on top of what they're already paying.
No, the contribution they're paying to private healthcare would just switch to the universal healthcare system. It very likely would be close to the same or less.

@fskornia@glammr.us @doctormo@floss.social it would be very substantially less. Other developed countries pay a small fraction on healthcare per capita than the US pays, with better outcomes, and the peace of mind that comes from zero medical bills ever.
