Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't the UK spent the last 30 or so years undermining this model by introducing wasteful, profit seeking, competition?

@markhburton@mstdn.social Since market solutions cannot fail (they can only be failed) then it stands to reason that the problem must be the public system.
