there's still a part of my brain that doesn't believe they turned javascript into a general purpose language. like javascript goes in the browser

@kirakira@furry.engineer browser standards are now everything standards. hah. wasm is the new jvm, webgpu is the new opengl, quic (http/3) is the new tcp, webrtc is the new sip. hell nothing can escape js: json is the new xml, component model (reactjs) is the new mvc and js-esque async, hot module patching, and gradual typings are everywhere,
