I walked on an open wound on my foot for what could have been anything up to an hour yesterday without noticing anything beyond mild discomfort and now I have a… larger, grosser open wound, I guess. On the sole of my foot. I’m lucky it doesn’t seem to be infected. This isn’t even the first time I’ve done this. I dunno if this is absurd pain tolerance or just an ADHD tendency to not register the signals my body sends me until they are SUPER loud. Could well be both.
