"Time Go Fishing" is a soundtrack to engineering's endless battle against suffering. It is a cry of defiance against an uncaring universe. It's not only my new favorite movie soundtrack, it might just be the one scene that topples the signal discovery scene from Contact (1997) as my favorite movie scene of all time. The song is a microcosm of our fight against the march of entropy. It is a reminder that to be alive is to fight for something. To find someone to be brave for. With science as our sword, we will carve a better path through the tangles of time, where cancer is conquered and death is defeated. The future is unwritten, anything is possible. It will not be easy. It will be hard. Everything worth doing, is. We just have to be brave.
