@ilia@phpc.social @jimw@mefi.social However, the substantive is merely "stop linking to something we don't use". It literally points to a PR that does that. It's also reversible. And the "political stuff" was added after people where whining that it had to be. In any case, continuing to link to it isn't beneficial, as there won't be any new posts.

@ilia@phpc.social As others have pointed out, pmj insisted that the political reasoning be made explicit. (I won’t speculate on why he seems to think I was ever ashamed of my very political stance on this.) The tell is that your vote on the principle that politics should not have been mentioned is to pick the “no” side in the politics of it. The “abstain” option was right there.
