Forget all the hard data, just a quick scan of news reports from around the world would tell you our climate is broken.
How much must you be paid to claim that climate change isn't real?
Why aren't our national leaders acting now to protect us all (and the planet!)?

@DaveWhittle@mastodon.social because doing anything would hurt their short term profits and their own investments. Plainly stating the fact publicly would cause a panic on the markets and that also would cause investment losses. Unless something drastically changes in who we elect to the highest positions this will stay like this to the end. The rich will never ever say this aloud.
