@Kazinator@mstdn.ca I don't think there's enough information to generate a result. I believe you'd at least need to know the resistivity of the circuit, and there's still no guarantee that over-volting it to that extreme won't simply cause it to overheat / catch fire.

    @lagomoof@mastodon.social There is a standard way to represent a voltage ratio as decibels; no other information is required. That representation is based on power (ten times the power is ten decibels), and assumes power is proportional to the square of the voltage. db = 10 log_10 V1^2/V0^2 = 10 log_10 (V1/V0)^2 = 20 log_10 V1/V0
