Summer¹ Outdoor² Concert Series ¹ most July-August only, some extend into September or started in June ² many have indoor back-up locations in bad weather Free/no cover unless otherwise noted. Let me know if you hear of others & I'll try to fit them in! Weekdays: GreenShack Shows rotating through most neighbourhood city parks. Family-friendly performing arts of all sorts, 11am or 2:30pm. Tuesdays: Sounds from the Valley presented by Edmonton Public Library at Rainbow Valley Ski Club. Music of assorted genres plus poetry readings, 7-10?pm. Wednesdays: Patio Series at Festival Place. Eclectic double bills, 7-9pm, $14. Christ Church Garden Series. Folk/jazz, 7-9pm.

Thursdays: Patio Series at Café Bicyclette. Various folk styles, 7-9pm, $15. Plaza Series outside the Arden Theatre. Eclectic double bills, 7-9?pm. "Colleen's Concert Series" at Sherlock Holmes locations & Duggan's Pub. Solo acoustic tunes, 5-7pm or 4-6pm, alternating weeks at each location. "Live & Local" at Boston Pizza Capillano (and possibly other locations with patios, I did not check them all). Solo acoustic tunes, 7-9pm, 18+. "Rock the Park" at Sherbrooke Community League. Folk-rock, mostly solo, 5-8pm. Grand Market on 124th St includes a busker stage & kids programming. 4-8pm. (once a month-ish) "Nightbird Alley" outside the Carrot Coffeehouse with jazz & more, plus grilled food. 7-9pm, $15.
