Thursdays:
Patio Series at Café Bicyclette. Various folk styles, 7-9pm, $15.
Plaza Series outside the Arden Theatre. Eclectic double bills, 7-9?pm.
"Colleen's Concert Series" at Sherlock Holmes locations & Duggan's Pub. Solo acoustic tunes, 5-7pm or 4-6pm, alternating weeks at each location.
"Live & Local" at Boston Pizza Capillano (and possibly other locations with patios, I did not check them all). Solo acoustic tunes, 7-9pm, 18+.
"Rock the Park" at Sherbrooke Community League. Folk-rock, mostly solo, 5-8pm.
Grand Market on 124th St includes a busker stage & kids programming. 4-8pm.
(once a month-ish) "Nightbird Alley" outside the Carrot Coffeehouse with jazz & more, plus grilled food. 7-9pm, $15.

Fridays: 124 St Grand Night Market at rotating locations, with busker stage in addition to food & art vendors, 5-10pm. Saturdays: Block Party on Rice Howard Way with live music & other entertainment. Themes & hours vary by week. Downtown Farmer's Market on 104 St with two busking stages, 10-3pm. Afternoon Sound Sessions on 124th, 2-5pm. Fulton Place Summer Concert Series (105 Ave near 69 St). Full bands of assorted styles, 8-9pm. Plus a finale all afternoon fest on Aug 29. Alternate weeks: Music on the (Stony Plain) Road has concerts in various parking lots. Assorted genres with full bands headlining + solo openers, 6-8:30pm.
