July 10-12: Uptown Blues Jam Summer Festival is a full weekend of jamming at a camp & festival ground near Stony Plain. $27 weekend admission, with meals as an add-on. July 11-12: Rockin' Thunder Music Festival at the Exhibition Lands Racetrack, with a millennial-focused CanRock line-up. $309/2-day general admission. July 13-26: The Magpie Collection: A Dance Festival at/near Mile Zero Dance includes classes, performances, parties, and a bike tour that stops to watch site-specific shows. $25 or less for individual events, $120 full festival pass. July 16-26: Taste of Edmonton takes over Churchill Square, with restaurants from around the city trying to tempt you with tiny tidbits. Music stage runs 5-10pm every night with youth groups then assorted great local bands, plus festival headliners Econoline Crush on opening Thursday and 54-40 on the final Saturday.

July 17-26: K-Days at the Expo Centre & grounds, with midway, concerts (including a mini-Bluesfest at the CKUA stage July 18-19), Superdogs, Cirque Kalabante, nightly fireworks, & more. Regular adult admission $20-ish (with free days for library / ARC card holders) & includes most entertainment, although premium tickets are available. July 17-18: Neon Skies Festival has top 40 pop/dance acts at the Ice District Fan Park. $190/2-day general admission. July 17-19: Great Outdoors Comedy Festival with stand-up comics on a big stage in Kinsmen Park. Various prices, 18+. July 18: The monthly O-day'min Daze event (in O-day'min Park downtown) features a mix of music & indigenous culture including scheduled performances, workshops, and open mic/jam sessions led by Tiger Coffee. Free, 11am-10pm.
