The holes in the pages are bigger than the rings, so they may not make good contact. All pages switched on or you need additional electronics to prevent that. It would turn a cool thing that simply works into an error prone disappointment. And with this, you can take an individual page and your own phone charger, and it still works.

I suspect the easier way to do this would be shallow pogo pins or the like conducting up from a powered back cover. Whichever page doesn’t have another one on top of it pressing down is the one which turns on.
