@djsundog@fedi.reclaim.technology the lesson they keep learning is that, without any semblance of consumer protection in modern western governments, consumers get upset about a thing, can't do anything about it because they're up against monopolies and duopolies that coordinate bad behaviour, and then eventually there are so many bad things that everyone just begrudgingly accepts that life is worse now, and we all quietly suffer for it. and then smarmy middle class pieces of shit write articles to lick corporate boot the next time it happens. good headline though lol. these fuckin people. i'm so excited for heads to roll. like, not in a figurative way. the sycophants and PR assholes can go too.
