Do you have GameBoy or GameBoy Advance cartridge in which the internal battery has run out? For example, a Pokemon Gold cartridge on which you can’t save? Good news! I ordered batteries to repair my owns some time ago and I have a *ton* of them left over. So, if you want to, you can send me your cartridge and I’ll fix it for you *for free*. You would only have to pay for the postage! What do I get from the deal? Well, I get to practice my budding soldering skills, which is all I’m asking for.

@Sylvhem@eldritch.cafe I'm in New Zealand (disgusting shipping fees) and I'm currently trapped by a cat in my lap, but I've just brought home a bunch of my old cartridges from my childhood including a Pokemon Gold and I'm replying so I come back and potentially take you up on this later once I have an inventory of which games need it :)

@Sylvhem@eldritch.cafe My dad is basically doing the same thing with guitars in his retirement. "I will fix it for free, but it might take several months." Everyone is happy.
