The other piece is, until they get grid hookups, they run diesel and/or methane turbines for the energy.
You know, directly destroying our biosphere and local air.
They're doing the same scam in Indianapolis as well.

@crankylinuxuser@infosec.exchange Musk brought in temporary generators to his Colossus data centre in Memphis, which are exempt from the usual air and emissions permitting. Alberta also exempts temporary power from the rules.
