My employer's campaign to _prevent me from #working_ continues. Our owning overlords changed over a year ago and our new corporate IT function.... is draconian. First our Windows PCs were reimaged with a restrictive corporate W11 image. Could still get stuff done because we had access controlled "dev" accounts. Though now I would just spend 25m each day entering in my dev credentials as I merrily installed whatever I wanted. Or, you know, to install/uninstall the application we were developing over and over 15 times/day. Pleas to the IT gods to allow "dev" functions license to sidestep this during dev & test were ignored. Bout the same time the `;`, `l` and `p` keys stopped working. Request to IT for a replacement laptop: "just use a usb keyboard." The whole point of a laptop is to avoid being chained to a desktop setup. Which in my case, is in my basement. Its very nice, many monitors, my own clicky mechanical keyboard.. but its... the basement. 1/

So I just started using my own laptop. Which is linux. Then they started restricting access to all the services - Sharepoint, outlook, onedrive - to only "authorized browsers" i.e. Chrome or Edge.. which come on the corporate IT controlled W11 images. No problem - vivaldi on linux works just fine thanks to a user-agent switcher which happily reports that yes, I AM using outlook from Chrome on a Windows PC. :) Well, yesterday was the last straw. Now everything is locked down so it can only be accessed from authorized _machines_... i.e. Azure/Active Directory - I guess they call it `Microsoft Entra ID` participants. Anyone know how to spoof Entra ID credentials from linux? (Im assuming no because otherwise that wouldn't be very good on Microsoft's part, but you never know) 2/2
