There’s a small part of me that wants to buy and renovate a building in our downtown area, something like 50-75 seats total, and build it out as a movie theatre that shows only off-copyright films and charges a dollar to get in for kids and seniors, two bucks to adults. That’s it. No Dolby mega deafening with motion sickness inducing screens. Just cheap entertainment. I don’t want to get rich from it, I just wanna give everyone some safe affordable fun.
