Next step in my terra sigillata journey: half ball clay, half kaolin.(200 gm each) in 800 gm water. This time I used equal amounts of soda ash and sodium silicate 1.5 gm each as deflocculant. You can use soda ash alone (washing soda) but it takes longer for the mix to settle and separate #ceramics #pottery #terrasigillata
