Are you using Unifi with Sonos and can you directly compare the experience?
Do you happen to know how long Unifi supports their hardware?
While Fritz offers pretty long hardware support, I'm still unhappy about vendor-mandated obsolescence for devices when using the vendor's proprietary mesh setup.
My naive hope is that OpenWRT lets me keep working old hardware longer while still getting current bugfixes.

@hzulla@infosec.exchange I do, and it works pretty stable - I think more stable than with the Fritz setup. I'm not too experienced in Unifi in terms of LTS, but I think they are pretty good at that. @masek@infosec.exchange might know more, I think he's using their stuff for a while now?
