Controversial heatwave post #2. I've been in España for 17 days now and I love being in 35C+ heat, it's like nectar on my skin and warms the very alveoli of my lungs with every breath. My English rose skin can't take the midday summer sun, but there is plenty of shade under the trees. Sleeping at night under just a sheet is delicious. Cool dips in the free municipal swimming pools in Madrid and the sea, my truest love, here in Mallorca are definitely beneficial. Rather this than the repeated misery of Scottish summers. I'm now considering moving back to the south coast of England for the heatwaves I keep missing once my Scottish partner has finished his studies in Glasgow. Or maybe a digital nomad visa in South Africa if I can persuade my employers. #heatwaves #sun #summer #scotland #España #DigitalNomad #travel
