Last boost. The answers are in the comments already. But the knowledge of the minutiae of what life was once like will disappear I guess.

At the risk of doing nostalgia, which I have little time for, I bought my first singles in Leake's in Sun Street. Its main business was vacuum cleaners and fridges. But for some strange reason shops like that also used to sell records.
