i hate talking money stuff with a boomer buddy of mine
he was talking about how he bought his house for like 35k or something and i was like alright well i gotta get going
its like they gloat but then down play it like they had to struggle
like bitch you did not, even the economic issues of 70s was easy street, its like their egos wont just give it up and let them admit they had and still have it easy
its funny listening to the late boomers early gen x talk about how they want to retire but they're broke and what not

@dictatordave@poa.st @BigDuck@poa.st LOL, i just sat down for a cuppa and overheard the old boys chatting nearby. once the brain is over 60, it gets it's daily exercise by reviewing what it knows. can't help but frame new events in terms of the old experience. not their fault.
