So my office workstation is taking an inordinate time to boot and I'm trying to figure out wtf is going on.
systemd-analyze tells me:
Startup finished in 51.414s (firmware) + 8.036s (loader) + 976ms (kernel) + 1min 7.909s (initrd) + 14.737s (userspace) = 2min 23.074s
And that initrd time seems insane. Looking at the systemd-analyze plot, all of the devices take an insane amount of time. I can't figure out why. Any ideas?

@shinmera@mastodon.tymoon.eu In systemd journal logs, do you see a line saying: "Timed out waiting for device /dev/tpmNNNNN" ? In which case it could be that the delay is caused by systemd trying to start the tpm2.target. Check if ls -la /dev/tpm* returns any files and if it doesn't then you can try to mask the tpm2.target. via: sudo systemctl mask tpm2.target Source: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=296699
