As well, 1986 was year Rick Hansen went around the world in wheelchair (Man in Motion tour) and not long after I arrived Montréal he passed through Montréal on his way to Vancouver and would have had to ensure rural route 17 through Ontario like I did. (though police closed road in the most dangerous stretches for him)
