(sorry for YT link, turns out I can't send files larger than 1MB inlined) Got back into actually writing code for my game lately, with actual homing bullets... kinda. They're a bit too OP in the video and kinda go everywhere sometimes. (I did lower the rate in which they spawn after recording this, which makes them waaay more reasonable): https://youtu.be/9LWhxPivvCY Additionally, decided to partially steal the "modern" lifebar system (a ring around the boss), which is done by.... drawing a bunch of textured triangles (48 of them or so, I also lowered that down to 32) Additionally, I think I'll start having to take more attention into freeing as much frametime as possible, not only for more complex patterns/drawings on screen without overclocking (I'm pretty close to hitting the 40FPS cap as it stands, sadly) but also because I'll need to make way for libraiko, soon enough!
