What should my next #nonfiction read be? I’m especially keen on sociology and espionage history.

@mkb I don't read much espionage stuff; The Mysterious Affair at Olivetti comes to mind My interesteans more toward codes and ciphers, with the occasional spy book

@mkb There was a book by one of the OSS originals. He famously had a sign on his desk that said “Speak freely, I don’t want your job.” “The Price of Admiralty” is an excellent history of the cost and purposes of a navy. “The First War of Physics” is a great history of the WW2 race to build a bomb. (I don’t recall enough coverage of the Japanese program.) I love spy books as well, just haven’t found enough.
