A couple of weeks ago I mentioned I was going through my old friend Ian's journals and photos. While Ian died in1999, there are two people alive who still remember him (myself and a mutual friend in Florida). Anyway, I've saved a handful of Ian's photos from his journals. These 3 were labeled DIRIGIBLE LOS ANGELES IN PANAMA, Feb 27, 1928. I think Ian may have taken them - he was certainly there and all the other photos from that time are of Ian and his friends - but it is possible he acquired these airship photos from a vendor. I think they are really cool. #ThrowbackThursday
