He is witty and comes up with clever terminology, but he's also solidly liberal-right and comes up with the kinds of solutions that would have been mentioned in speeches by Ronald Reagan. The best you can say about his analysis is that it's largely correct. The best you can say about his proposed solutions is to never mention them.

@celesteh@post.lurk.org I'd say charitably that he's more FDR than Raegan in that he's working frantically to save capitalism from its own inherent and heightening contradictions, and as such are taking these positions directionally in a positive, rather than negative direction.
