  My impression from the last 20 years of being Serious in my computer touching interest is that systems, for the most part, are going to be vulnerable, but that it is not impossible or wasted effort to attempt to get rid of entire classes of potential vulns by good craftmanship and theoretical guarantees. LLMs, in this context, are mega-fuzzing tools, and the best defense against such attacks is just that. If you can prove that edge-facing code is secure, no fuzzing will help.

  Just had a bizarre cell phone experience where I just missed a call, so called back, got a connection and heard a few words, after which it was cut. Then I got a text saying that I got a new voicemail. Which was the continuation of that call???? Incredible that we actually had a functional phone system and have managed to fuck that up completely somehow.

  This Jacobin article (or rather, screenshots of the headline and selected paragraphs) on family abolition and heteropessimism has been doing the rage circuit on Bluesky, but I have to say I found it quite interesting, if not completely comprehensive. I korthet så skrev en del av kommunen skitbra kontrakt med oss engagerade, följt av att en annan (?) del av kommunen sålde hela fastigheten till en privat ägare. Så blev det med den saken. Och nu? Noll och intet har hänt med huset eller fastigheten sen 2017. Less blir man. #umea
