@NanoRaptor@bitbang.social it's fascinating how your cat can hork on your carpet and you can go over it six times with all manner of detergents and enzymatic sprays and yet the UV light will show you the exact, original hork pattern in perfect, 4K detail until the heat death of the universe.
i went down a rabbit hole trying to figure out what the UV-reactive molecules in cat puke even were and what sort of reactions might destroy them
i got nothing.

@NanoRaptor@bitbang.social had my whole carpet professionally steam cleaned. after they were done i pulled out the UV light and they gave a nervous chuckle. "Nothing gets that out. It's better if..." "If i don't look. Right. But. I need to look." I looked. It was all stil there.
