An interesting result of how "cheap" words and code have become in the age of LLMs is that the Blaise Pascal quote "I would have written a shorter letter, but I did not have the time." has gotten a whole new meaning.
It used to be when I saw a PR with a long description it was an indication that someone spent a lot of time and thought on it.
Now it means the opposite.

@hp@mastodon.tmm.cx I've long said we live in a time, where people take two sentence e-mails and have LLM write a wall of text from it, only for the receiver to summarize it and lose the last shreds of its message.
