(all the regular caveats here for "my job makes me use it" and whatever niche workflows and local/open models etc, i know we're all out here doing our best in a hostile world and you're not a shithead for being too exhausted to keep your guard up all the time about this stuff. i just think that using "well everyone's doing it" as some kind of justification/vindication of claude code or whatever demonstrates a real lack of intention and attentiveness)

@aparrish@friend.camp In fact, these two statements are complementary. "No one ever got fired for using AWS" is, in fact, a major contributor to why so many companies use AWS. The same is absolutely true of AI tools.
