@MarkDeasy@aus.social hurrah! Thank you! One day the Gungahlin kids are gonna get the train south and discover the Lebanese bakery and the Mawson kids are gonna get the train north and discover the Japanese bakery and our city will finally be united

@emmadavidson@aus.social Ahhh ..... Al Manoosh. Cedars of Lebanon. The Raiders Club. The Austrian Club and the now sadly closed Alexander Fax bookshop. There is/was something for everyone in Mawson. And bridging the north-south divide would be lovely. Grew up in Pearce and the map of everything north of Civic was 'thar be dragons'. Drove thru it on the way to Syd with the windows up in the Datto 180B. A tram diplomacy, 'peace in our times' opportunity! ❤ End the false sectarian divide forever!
