I retired slowly, over a period of about 2-3 years. My part time job dried up during Covid, another wanted to switch to full time after 6 months… I did a bit of tutoring last year, & then enrolled in a 5 week art class at the beginning of the year, after dabbling with colour pencils for a year or so. Just finished a watercolour class. And am now very, very focussed on my art…

There are a lot of things I’ve enjoyed but given up over the years for one reason or another, and I am going to noodle away at those for a while to see if anything is still for me. Art is one of those, and playing piano. I kind of want to be in my own space now that I don’t have to go out peopleing for work.
