@emilymbender@dair-community.social I'd love to read the pre-print. I don't know if the link is live (yet), but I tried it now and it gave me a 404. https://faculty.washington.edu/ebender/papers/Bender-AI-2026.pdf was the location the pre-print linked me to.

@emilymbender@dair-community.social thank you for sharing the pre-print. I found the section on colonialism particularly insightful. I hadn't considered the question of *whose* knowledge is being codified in these models and how that can further marginalise others.
