RE: https://lgbtqia.space/@m/116885837961672202 My parents’ house in the SF Bay Area was built in the 1940s and we still have the original pipes, so we have a filter system at the exit point (the faucet). Pipe replacements are expensive! 💸💸 Though I still prefer this to the situation in Mexico, where no one trusts the tap water and everyone drinks bottled water (and have garrafónes at home). Or the situation in Europe (though I’ve only been to the UK, Ireland, and Italy) where the concept of “a free glass of water” apparently does not exist.
